About Bison View Cabin
The Cabin
With two bedrooms and a day bed, the Cabin comfortably sleeps four people. It has 1.5 bathrooms, a fully stocked kitchen, a wood-burning stove, and in-unit laundry. Throughout the cabin you will find custom woodwork, handcrafted by the owner with locally sourced specialty lumber. The three porches, front and back yards offer ample opportunities to enjoy the fresh air and stunning views! The garage is not included in the rental, and the cabin does not have a TV, air conditioning, or a dishwasher.
The Area
Nestled in the rural Mission Valley, Bison View Cabin is a quiet, tranquil property surrounded by stunning mountain, creek, and valley views. Additionally, the Cabin is conveniently located within driving distance of Missoula, Polson, Glacier National Park, and dozens of recreation areas, making it the ideal base camp for adventurous vacations. We have created an extensive guide book via our Airbnb page to help guests navigate the many things to do in this area!

About The Hosts
Suzie & Rusty
We have lived in Montana for over 40 years! I was a bookkeeper and manager for a real estate agency for 10 years, and Rusty co-owns a sawmill north of St. Ignatius. We have two children: Daniel is an electrical apprentice, and Brooklin is going to school to be a veterinarian. Even though our kids have "left the nest," our fur babies (one dog and four cats) still keep us company! Our favorite aspects of living in Montana are the stunning scenery and access to incredible hunting, fishing, cross country skiing, and hiking. Each one of us has worked on the cabin remodeling. Rusty led the renovations with the help of the kids & Suzie. Suzie manages the bookings, cleaning, yardwork & maintenance.
We live across the yard from the cabin, and we are here if you need anything during your stay!
